The project is a continuation of the path of Create to Connect project that started in 2012 and was a joint effort of 10 European cultural organizations and 3 associate partners to create powerful and long-lasting connections of artists, cultural operators, researchers and audience; seeking new production models for engaging the audience in new, innovative ways and creating together new public arenas through dialogue and participation. In the new project cycle, the network has expanded and has five new additional partners, who are shifting their focus from the notion of audience building to impact. The notion of impact encompasses the value and meaning that work of artists can produce in terms of change, innovation, empowerment and emancipation.
