Description
The Institute of Slovenian Ethnology will host the 25th Conference of the SIEF Food Research Group, which will be held 15-18 September, 2026. This year’s theme is “Food Encounters: Emplacement and Ethics in Everyday Life.”
The conference will be organised within the research programme Ethnological, anthropological and folklore studies research on everyday life, co-organised within the research programme Heritage on the margins: new perspectives on heritage and identity within and beyond national and within the project Migrants' emplacement at the micro-level: Restaurants as the contact zones, financed by Slovenian Research and Innovation Agency.
