Katarina Šrimpf Vendramin receives the Marolt Prize
Published on: June 11, 2025We are pleased and proud to announce that our colleague from the Institute of Slovenian Ethnology Katarina Šrimpf Vendramin was awarded the Marolt Prize at the National Marolt Folklore Meeting, which took place on Saturday, 7 June 2025, in Žalec. The prize is awarded by the Public Fund of the Republic of Slovenia for Cultural Activities (JSKD).
The Marolt Prize honours many years of professional contributions in the field of folklore. Šrimpf Vendramin received this recognition for her outstanding work as a costume designer and researcher of Slovenian folklore heritage.
