From Reading Literacy to the Information Revolution

The panel will discuss the history of reading, print, literacy and the languages of education in the Gorizia Region. They will highlight the influence of the bourgeoisie on reading culture and the involvement of the Gorizia Region in European currents of thought. They will also address the importance and positive effects of reading books in an era dominated by digital media.
